Sweet River is a Pagosa Springs based indie-folk-rock trio that transforms Colorado mountain-town inspirations into a folk-infused energetic musical journey. The trio combines upbeat vocal harmonies, rhythmic guitar, driving cello, lively fiddle and tasteful additions of mandolin and harmonica. The band crafts songs that echo a deep love for the outdoors, storytelling and high-altitude living. Their performances weave "Appalachian-meets-orchestral" arrangements into a foot-stomping parade of fun-filled live music.  You’ll hear covers from the timeless grit of Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, and John Prine to contemporary artists including Kacey Musgraves and Lord Huron, alongside indie-grass favorites like Trampled By Turtles, Railroad Earth, Caravan of Thieves and many more.

Sweet River is Sean Meade (guitar, vocals, harmonica and stomp pad), Pamela Meade (cello and vocals) and Payton McIntyre (fiddle, vocals and mandolin).
